If so, we are looking for an additional member to join our external cleaning team.

The cleaning operative will form part of a small team carrying out cleaning tasks, predominantly external cleaning tasks within approximately a 15 mile radius of Yeovil.

The main task of the role is window cleaning but the successful candidate may be required to support other functions such as conservatory cleaning, UPVC cleaning, gutter clearing, pressure cleaning and render cleaning.

Applicants must:-

Hold a FULL clean driving license

Be physically fit and healthy

Be a conscientious and hard working team player

Be ideally over 25 for insurance purposes

Ideally possess a good local knowledge

Be totally flexible in line with the needs of the business and it’s customers

Be courteous, polite and friendly

NOT be adverse to working outside and in inclement weather

Able to pass an enhanced DBS check to an acceptable standard

Skills / experience required:-

Ideally window cleaning experience using WFP and / or TRAD techniques

An ability to work alone or as part of a team

Dealing with the public and money handling

Ability to follow management instruction but use their own initiative when required

Can work safely at all times and follow H&S guidelines

The role will be 35 hours over a period of 5 working days, primarily Monday to Friday but could include Saturday or Sunday if weather prevents working during the week. A trial period will be agreed with the successful candidate and any offer of employment made will be subject to receiving satisfactory references. The successful candidate must also be able to provide an enhanced DBS check to an acceptable standard as this is required for certain areas of work.
